Welcome to my web design portfolio! I have 6 years experience working with clients, instructional designers and programmers to create educational interactive media. I also have 8 years experience in hand-coding W3C, 508 standards compliant XHTML and CSS. My current focus is on developing mobile applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Xcode. Below are examples of games, websites and interactive media that I have designed in the last 5 years. I use expertise in hand-coding valid XHTML and CSS, Flash, image editing, graphic design and 3D modeling to produce high quality web sites. I use CSS and JavaScript frameworks to hasten development time, improve site functionality and user experience.   • EO3404 Digital Signal Processing for iPad

    Worked with Naval Postgraduate School faculty to design and code a mobile version of an existing web-based course. Designed for delivery on the iPad.

  • FAO Mobile Website

    Created mobile web app for NPS' Foreign Area Officer Program.

  • DLCC Website

    Designed and coded website for Distance Learning Coordinating Committee (DLCC). Created all graphics,layout, form.

  • Electric Machinery Theory Distance Learning Lab

    Worked with NPS faculty clients to design and create a multimedia website where distance learning students can run real hardware in a remote lab to get the same experience as resident students. Created site, graphics, and coded valid XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery. QA in all browsers.

  • HSI Certificate Program Website

    Created custom website and course modules for this NPS distance learning certificate course. Designed and coded custom templates in Dreamweaver, incorporated multimedia, audio, video and flash interactions. Built skin and managed course content in LMS, Sakai. Media Development Lead.

  • Faethom Application Website

    Designed and coded website for a software application developed by CED3 at the Naval Postgraduate School. Created logo, layout and all graphics.

  • Disaster Challenge Game

    Isometric 3D game. Created the game environment, buildings and modeled and animated the characters. Created UI map; other UI elements and programming by others.

  • Teamwork Exercise Game

    Worked with faculty to create this flash project about remote communication. Supplemental interactive exercise for online HSI Certificate program course. Created all graphics and interface. Programming by others.

    Designed all graphics, animations and user interface.

  • Workspace Exericise

    Designed all graphics, layout, buttons, user interface. Kitchen planning exercise for NPS Human Systems Integration Program. Programming by others.

  • ITACS Centennial of Technology Timeline

    Created for NPS/ITACS Centennial Celebration. Designed all graphics, animations and user interface in Flash. Coded some of the actionscript.

  • Human Systems Integration Timeline

    Created for scrolling timeline of Human Systems Integration. Coded using HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript. Utilizes open-source product 'Simile timeline'. Add new events through editing XML.
